AVDanzer re-brands following significant growth
Following a period of record growth Denton-based site accommodation hire company AV Group, and its Nottingham based manufacturing arm Danzer Limited, will now trade under one unified brand, AV Danzer, which will have its head-quarters in Denton.
The move follows year on year growth for both companies which are closely interlinked. AV Group achieved an 18% increase in profit in the year to September 2015, with turnover up to £6.8m from £5.8m. Danzer Limited, which is based at Langley Mill Nottingham, has achieved a turnover of over £5m. The firm also as a third depot to cover the south of England which is based in Essex. The company employs 76 staff across its three sites.
Although they will continue to exist as separate companies they will now operate and trade across the UK and Europe under one unified brand, with the aim to simplify production, sales, marketing, order and invoicing processes.
AV Danzer rents accommodation units to many of the UK’s largest construction firms. Its 4000 plus strong hire fleet of steel anti-vandal units are used by leading construction firms such as Skanska, BAM, Eric Wright Group, Renaker, Wates and Graham Construction.
Its units are currently in use at Allied London’s Number 1 Spinningfields in Manchester City Centre for BAM Construction, on numerous Renaker sites across Manchester and at Wates Living Space’s many residential schemes across the city including Circle Square. The company has this week received another Renaker instruction and will be providing site accommodation units at its Owen Street development in Manchester.
As well as manufacturing the hire units the production arm also produces modular buildings for sale to schools, industry, leisure operators and public sector organisations.
AV Danzer has also recently invested in new production facilities, a new order system and accountancy software to ensure it continues to deliver a market-leading service, swift delivery and excellent customer service.
Commenting on the move Managing Director Helen Scott said: “The hire company has been trading for almost thirty years and has grown organically during this time so today we have two separate and thriving businesses. The time is right for us to bring the operation of the two businesses together to deliver a more integrated offer. We are expanding into European markets and both the hire and sales side of the business are growing at a phenomenal rate so it makes sense now to be represented by one single brand and deliver a more streamlined operation.”
Growth in the housebuilding sector has played a significant part in the recent success and clients include Taylor Wimpey, Barratt, David Wilson Homes and Jones Homes and despite worries post-Brexit AV Danzer’s order book continues to be full.
