Vicki Stone partners with Gosforth solicitors to launch networking event
Newcastle-based marketing firm Vicki Stone Marketing has teamed up with Gosforth’s Carr & Co Solicitors to launch a new, quarterly business networking event.
The company was set up in 2009 and has grown to a team of six strategic Project Directors and creatives, working with businesses and marketing teams across the North East.
Recently, the firm was appointed to work with Northumbria Police to launch a new recruitment campaign to support their 2016 officer appointment drive.
Launching Be the difference, an integrated advertising campaign promoting the benefits of joining Northumbria Police, the campaign features real operational officers showing a wide variety of roles from firearms, to dog handlers to 24/7 officers on the beat.
Vicki, who has experience in networking launches in the past with North East Marketing Managers’ Lunches, said: “I met Valerie from Carr & Co Solicitors at a networking event a few years ago and since then, have become a client of ours.”
“Getting to an early morning breakfast networking meeting is not always possible for lots of business owners and professionals.
“So we thought we’d test the water with a lunch event. We already have lots of businesses booked to come to the September 22nd event, which is a promising start of something new.”
Valerie Wormald, senior director at Carr & Co Solicitors. Added: “It is well known that Newcastle is a thriving centre for commerce so we are thrilled at the prospect of bringing together local businesses from Gosforth and beyond.
“In our increasingly impersonal digital world the ability to develop genuine and trusting relationships in a face-to-face setting is fast becoming an invaluable tool in standing out from the professional crowd.”
All businesses are welcome to attend the events, and don’t have to be located in Gosforth. The first event is at Adriano’s restaurant on Gosforth High Street on Thursday 22nd September 12-2pm.
