LWA shortlisted at the British Accountancy Awards again
Northwest based accountancy and business advisory firm Leavitt Walmsley Associates (LWA) have been shortlisted at the nationally acclaimed British Accountancy Awards 2016, in the Most Innovative Practice category for independent firms. The firm based in Sale and Warrington have been recognised for implementing a number of modern, technological advancements to constantly improve their services over the past 18 months.
With the awards in their sixth year, they are regarded as the industry’s most prestigious accolades, and look to pinpoint professional development whilst celebrating excellence in the accountancy profession.
LWA were originally shortlisted at the inaugural British Accountancy Awards in 2011 where Audit & Technical Partner Steve Collings went on to win the Accounting Technician of the Year award, and the firm was subsequently shortlisted again in 2014 in 2 categories.
Commenting on their shortlisting, Les Leavitt, Managing Partner of LWA said: “I am extremely proud that we have been shortlisted in this specialist category at the British Accountancy Awards, particularly due to the innovative approach we apply each day whilst still offering a personal, value-added approach. The awards will be judged and culminate in a glittering black-tie dinner and ceremony in the Capital city at The Brewery London, where winners will be announced on the 29th November.
