Acquisition heralds 'exciting time' for Wigan-based Oltec FM
Facilities management company Oltec FM has strengthened its electrical and mechanical services with the acquisition of Wigan firm Winstanley Electrical.
Following the deal, Winstanley Electrical’s 10-strong team will add its 40 years’ experience in commercial and industrial installations and maintenance to Oltec’s growing offer.
Oltec is confident the acquisition will broaden the scope of its electrical services, which include electrical installations, maintenance, servicing, testing and inspections.
The CEO of Wigan-headquartered Oltec FM, Olivier Cavaliere, said: “This acquisition comes at an exciting time for Oltec FM.
“We pride ourselves on our fully integrated offering to customers and this only serves to strengthen the bespoke service we can provide.”
He added: “All the staff from Winstanley Electrical are highly skilled and provide the same friendly and reliable service that people expect from Oltec FM.”
Jeff Phillips, who has joined Oltec FM from an engineering business, will lead the new team as the company’s operations director of technical services.
Commenting on the appointment, Olivier said: “I’m also delighted to welcome Jeff to the team. His wealth of experience in both the electrical and mechanical sectors will be an asset to our business.”
Jeff said: “It’s great to join Oltec FM at such an exciting time for the business. The team has grown hugely in the past few years and I’m really looking forward to working with them to continue to build upon their current successes.”
Founded in 1974, today Oltec FM provides integrated building and facilities management services for public and private firms across a number of sectors.
