Aaron & Partners strengthens Legal 500 ranking
Highly respected independent legal industry guide The Legal 500 has ranked Aaron & Partners Solicitors as a top tier firm in three key practice areas and has increased the number of ranked partner-level leading practictioners at the firm to 28.
The guide acknowledged Chester as a hub for high-net worth clientele and ranked Aarons as a Tier 1 law firm in the practice areas of Corporate and Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Private Client – Agriculture and Estates. It also recommended the firm in 12 other key practice areas.

The Dispute Resolution team were singled out for significant praise with David Harries combination of ‘great insight and the ability to fight tremendously hard for clients’ and John Devoy’s ‘first rate’ litigation skills highlighted.
Elsewhere in the guide excellence and efficiency were judged to underpin the success of Corporate and Commercial under Stuart Scott-Goldstone, with Mark Briegal’s contribution also cited.
Aaron’s work advising owners and tenant farmers on disposals, acquisitions and tenancy issues on a private client basis also attracted a top tier ranking, with Simon Ellis and David Harries specifically highlighted for their excellent level of service and advice.
In addition to its Tier 1 ranked services, Aaron’s has increased the number of ranked individual leading practitioners in the Legal 500 from 21 last year to 28 this year.
These include Transport and Logistics specialist Tim Culpin, described by the guide as ‘excellent, extremely helpful and very experienced’ in regulatory matters, Trish Randles, recognised as a leading expert on landlord and tenant matters in Commercial Real Estate, Personal Tax, Trust and Probate practitioner Clive Pointon, whose approach is described as ‘clear, realistic, patient and good humoured’ and Richard Barge in the Private Client – Family law sector.
