Leeds growth and strategy expert launches Tendo Growth Partners
Gary King, a Leeds-based growth and strategy expert, has announced new growth plans with the launch of Tendo Growth Partners.
Gary set up business growth specialist Tendo in 2010, and has since supported over 160 business leaders with strategy and business mentoring either 1-2-1 or via his peer-to-peer mentoring dinners, Food4Thought.
Having seen the demand for his services grow across Yorkshire, Gary has now launched Tendo Growth Partners which will see a group of experts in business deliver the same services to companies across the north of England.
Partners will be provided with Tendo’s business support toolbox including his single page strategy model, their own Food4Thought group, a training programme and access to the Association of Business Mentors.
Having reached capacity on his own, the partner programme will see 25 selected partners help support over 1000 small businesses with their growth strategy on an annual basis.
Gary commented: “Unlike some business coaching programmes, I will only accept experts who have run their own companies and therefore have first hand knowledge and experience of how businesses really work.
“I believe it is only with the hands-on experience of running a business yourself, that you are then in a strong enough position to support the growth of another.
“Currently 50% of SMEs do not make it to the five-year point. Tendo has an impressive track record of business support, with every client having seen a double digit increase performance year on year. We want to roll this support out to more businesses across the North of England.”
The managing director of digital marketing agency, Ascensor, who has worked with Gary from the start of his business, said: “The reason we engaged Gary initially was his straight talking, Yorkshire attitude.
“Since then he has helped implement strategies that have supported Ascensor’s year-on-year growth.”
