Hampshire IT firm expands
Taylor Made Computer Solutions is celebrating one of the biggest years of growth in the company’s 22-year history.
The Fareham-based firm, which provides IT support for some of the biggest public and private sector organisations in the region, has increased its employee numbers by almost 20 per cent in the last year.
It follows a significant increase in business and the firm has boosted its team to ensure clients continue to receive the same swift and personal service, no matter how many companies Taylor Made is working with as it expands.
A total of 17 new members of staff have been taken on in the last year across a wide range of roles, including IT engineers, sales staff, apprentices and customer service account managers.
Chairman Nigel Taylor said that as the company’s reputation has spread in recent years, so too has the demand for its services and the need to expand its team. Just recently Taylor Made was named as one of the top 10 service providers in the UK as well as one of the best in the world.
“Accolades such as these really cement our commitment to providing the very best service for our clients and that has seen more and more companies turn to us to provide their IT support. What’s important to us is that we stay true to the values we held dear when we first launched Taylor Made – to provide an expert and personal service for each and every client. Increasing our staff by some 30 per cent will allow us to ensure that we continue to do that now and in the future.”
Based at Cams Hall in Fareham, Taylor Made now employs 120 people and has built a name for itself as a great place to work. It was the first company in Hampshire to receive Gold Investors in People recognition when it was first awarded in 2009.
