Designers chosen for law firm Squire Patton Boggs’ 27,500 sq ft Spinningfields base
Law firm Squire Patton Boggs has chosen interiors firm ID:SR Sheppard Robson to design its new offices at No.1 Spinningfields.
The international law firm has signed up for 27,500 sq ft across three floors of developer Allied London’s 19-storey scheme, which is due for completion in 2017.
Following its appointment, ID:SR will work closely with Squire Patton Boggs on the office design and fit-out project, which the law firm said will put employee wellbeing and productivity at the fore while showcasing its core brand values.
The head of ID:SR North at Sheppard Robson, Marie Leyland, said: “Squire Patton Boggs require world-class facilities to match the pace of the global market and this is why they have committed to space at No.1 Spinningfields.
“As part of our activity-driven approach we are developing the design through extensive consultation with Squire Patton Boggs’ employees in order to provide a space, which can evolve with the needs of the business and be flexible to accommodate all aspects of the practice.”
She added: “We are privileged to be working with them to create an extraordinary workspace in one of Manchester’s most sought-after developments.”
Once complete, Allied London’s No.1 Spinningfields development will include a rooftop bar, restaurant and terrace along with a business lounge.
Squire Patton Boggs’ Manchester-based managing partner, Rob Elvin, commented: “We have a long and proud history in Manchester and, working with Sheppard Robson, we are looking to create a prestigious office to match our local and international aspirations and give us a platform for the firm’s future in the city.”
