Work underway on luxury Alnwick apartments
Construction is now underway on a luxury apartment development in Alnwick Northumberland.
The Maltings will comprise 37 luxury 2 bedroom apartments and penthouses within a group of listed stone buildings on Dispensary Street.
Ascent Homes, part of Arch Northumberland, are the investors responsible for regenerating the key site within one of Northumberland’s most attractive market towns.
The apartments are set to be completed next year with buyers able to reserve through leading North East chartered surveyor and estate agent Bradley Hall from the end of this year.
Matt Hoy, Northumberland area manager for Bradley Hall, said: “The Maltings combines the history and culture of Alnwick, one of the most sought after towns in the country, with modern luxury living.
“The attention to detail within each apartment is unlike many other new properties. Buyers will be offered a choices of Symphony kitchens, high specification integrated bathroom ware and Porcelanosa tiling.
“Several of the apartments include private balconies and patios, with penthouses complete with sky lights and floor to ceiling glass doors available, guaranteeing fantastic views across Alnwick.”
Alnwick was recently named as the ‘Best Place to Live’ in Britain 2016 by Country Life magazine, thanks to its vibrant town centre, well preserved historical buildings and leafy surroundings.
Claire Scott, Head of Sales at Ascent Homes said: “We enhance communities through careful investment whilst also creating jobs and opportunities for local people.
“We have a passion for creating outstanding homes and we have certainly achieved that with The Maltings, combining open plan living spaces, large airy walkways and high standard fixtures and fittings.”
