Accountancy firm Guest & Company targets national growth with six-figure RBS investment

Family-run accountancy firm Guest & Company has landed a six-figure investment to refinance and refurbish its office on Princess Street in Manchester.

The deal with the Royal Bank to Scotland (RBS) will provide the company with the working capital needed to keep expanding its presence across the UK.

The business opened a second office this year in Knutsford, Cheshire, and plans to make more announcements in the near future.

Mat Guest, director at Guest & Company, said: “We are excited about working with Royal Bank of Scotland to help us achieve a greater presence across the UK and grow our trusted brand.

“So far our Knutsford office is proving a huge success and is helping those clients that live more rural – these range from a sole trader to large corporates.”

He continued: “We feel we are competitive in our field as we plan our own tax affairs and keep control over our accounting so we are well equipped to pass these savings and experience on to our customers.

“Moving forward we very much plan to keep ahead of the competition and this latest injection of finance is helping us to move these plans forward.”

Guest & Company has maintained a presence in central Manchester for the last 37 years. Today, the firm services clients both in the UK and overseas, including Hong Kong and China.

The business is run by its founder James Guest and son Mat Guest, with other family members likewise working to ensure its success.
