Expanded team to get the region moving
West Country coach operator Bakers Dolphin has expanded its coach hire team to support the region’s schools, businesses, clubs, organisations and families ensuring they can travel to events in style.
A dedicated team based in Weston-super-Mare is the biggest in the 126-year history of the firm, providing everything from seven or eight seat minibuses to a 79 seat Executive Double Decker coach.
The latest member of the team is Tim Clarke, who joined as a Sales Executive having previously worked in sales at the Weston Mercury. Tim is well known as the match day announcer at Weston-super-Mare football club and appeared at The Playhouse last year as Corny Collins in Hairspray.
Tracey Cooper has also moved across as Sales Executive having previously worked in the Bakers Dolphin reservations department.
Helen Haskell, Coach Hire Manager, said: “It is so much easier for groups to travel together and to let us take the strain of driving. Whatever your requirements for group travel we are here to help.
“We have executive vehicles with drinks serveries on board; DVD entertainment and toilets so that people can travel in comfort and style and actually arrive at their destination refreshed – this is particularly important for longer journeys.
“For groups we have a variety of coach sizes including touring vehicles that have the comfort needed for a weekend break or longer journey. One expanding area is larger groups hiring transport for trips away.”
Other members of the team are Julie Whiterod, Assistant Manager and Fiona Callaghan, Sales Executive.
