Cascade to showcase ‘engagement engine’ at CIPD
The CIPD’s Annual Conference and Exhibition once again looks set to be a jam-packed event for HR and payroll software vendor Cascade.
With one of the event’s biggest stands (G60), the technology specialist will showcase its configurable cloud-based solutions for businesses with anything from a handful, to tens of thousands of employees.
Cascade’s latest functionality will be available to explore, including the brand’s fully-integrated recruitment functionality, new-look mobile app and average holiday pay tool.
And, following the recent acquisition of Octopus HR, delegates will also be able to enjoy a demo of the newly-branded CascadeGo product, a cloud-based solution perfect for micro businesses up to SMEs with 100 employees.
The aim is that in short, yet tailored, demonstrations, delegates will be able to experience, for free, how the software will streamline their working lives.
CEO Oliver Shaw explains: “We’re committed to giving HR and payroll teams the tools to overcome any administrative burdens they’ve been experiencing to date. The goal is to empower them, increase their proactivity and encourage them to think strategically. That way, we’ll free up time for them to concentrate on developing meaningful relationships with their greatest asset – the workforce.
“That’s why we label our capabilities as an ‘engagement engine’. We want to help HR develop talent, realise the value of their human capital, and retain productive, high-performing people. In an ever-changing employment landscape, this has never been so important.”
The topic of change is another important theme for Cascade this year. Oliver will also take to the stage on day one of the event, when he delivers an advice-led seminar ‘Using HR Technology to Manage Change During Turbulent Economic Times’. The 30 minute session (13:15-13:45) will acknowledge that external forces are influencing the evolution of organisations more than ever before. It will therefore provide practical insight into how HR technology can help manage this change and volatility; safeguard employee productivity, morale and retention; and protect business profitability.
Oliver concludes: “Change is now constantly afoot within the modern business environment, but HR teams need to tackle it R calmly, with agility, and a strong focus on data and communication.
“I hope there’ll be some helpful takeaway tips for delegates to digest. We’ll also be producing a free guide that will be handed out to everyone who attends the lunchtime seminar.”
The CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition will take place on 9-10 November at Manchester Central. Entry to the exhibition is free but pre-registration is advised at http://www.cipd.co.uk/events/annual
Both Cascade and CascadeGo form part of the newly-formed IRIS Human Capital Management division, alongside IRIS payroll, Earnie and KashFlow. Together, these brands ensure IRIS has an integrated HR and payroll solution to serve both microbusinesses and multinationals, and anything in between.
