Plans submitted for second phase of development at North Yorkshire’s Grantley Hall
Plans have now been submitted for a second phase of development as part of the renovation of the Grade-II listed property, Grantley Hall, in North Yorkshire.
Submitted by Grantley Hall Ltd to Harrogate Borough Council, the application details the creation of a state of the art space built alongside the Japanese Garden, which sits to the north of the main property.
If approved, the new venue will deliver a function space for weddings, corporate events and larger parties, as well as an independent restaurant, bar and luxurious private lounge.
A spokesperson for Grantley Hall Ltd said: “We’ve worked closely with our appointed suppliers to create considered plans for a venue that we believe will add significantly to the offering of Grantley Hall.
“The new space will allow us to cater to a wider market and will provide a unique proposition to the luxury hotel market in this part of the UK.
“We’re committed to working with the council and its affiliated parties with this second application and hope to further demonstrate our unwavering commitment to the success of this project.”
The first planning proposal, which detailed the renovation and refurbishment of the main house and outbuildings, as well the development of a new state of the art spa and fitness centre with further bedrooms, were granted in June.
