Deloitte promotions target North West growth
Deloitte Real Estate has strengthened its North West planning team with the promotions of Laura Feekins and Katie Wray to Assistant Director as it looks to deliver major transformation projects across the North West.
Laura Feekins joined Deloitte Real Estate in 2010 and has since secured planning permission for public and private sector clients on a series of high-profile city centre developments. These include One Spinningfields, the £65m office development in Manchester city centre, and the £1bn regeneration of St. John’s located on the former ITV Granada site.
Katie Wray joined Deloitte in 2015 from The Co-operative Group. A heritage and conservation specialist, Katie sits as the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) North West Chair and advises on developments such as the £800m, 20-acre mixed-use NOMA scheme and Crusader Works, the Grade II listed mill complex constructed as early as 1830.
As Assistant Directors, both Laura and Katie will take leading roles at Deloitte’s Real Estate team to deliver major transformation programmes across the North West. The firm is at the forefront of some of the region’s key projects, such as XYZ, the 60,000 sq. ft. office development in Spinningfields, and the Ancoats and New Islington housing project, which will see 6,000 new homes built in a £1bn investment.
John Cooper, Partner at Deloitte Real Estate, said: “Laura and Katie are both immensely talented individuals and have added considerable expertise since joining Deloitte Real Estate. They have been integral to a number of key developments and we are delighted to reward their growing stature in this market with these promotions. As both domestic and foreign investment in the North West continues, their influence will be vital to determining the region’s skyline in the coming years.”
Deloitte Real Estate has also promoted Andy Cowan, Maria White and Ellen Sanderson to Planner grade, while graduates Frances Hampson, Hannah McLaughlin, and Amy Kennedy join the team to assist on a range of live projects across the North West.
Deloitte Real Estate now has 19 Planners at its Manchester office, making it one the largest planning teams in the city.
