Devon site manager recognised for quality work
Devon site manager Bob Maund has been recognised for his commitment to quality with a coveted regional award from housebuilder Barratt Homes.
Bob Maund works at the five star housebuilder’s Riverside Park development in Barnstaple and has been named as Barratt’s leading site manager in the west.
Barratt chief executive officer David Thomas visited Riverside Park this week to see the high quality homes Bob and his team are creating and to offer his congratulations.
“It is great to see Bob doing so well,’’ he said. “We are very proud of the quality of our new homes, we are the only the major national housebuilder to be rated as five star in the industry’s customer satisfaction survey and site managers have a big part to play in that achievement.”
Bob was also recently named as one of the best in the country in the NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Awards. He was one of 79 site managers working for Barratt Group who won an award this year. Barratt has won more Pride in the Job awards than any other housebuilder for the last 12 years
Barratt Homes managing director Paul Moran said he too was delighted that Bob had received the award. “The site manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring our teams deliver high-quality new homes and we are delighted that our investment in training and developing the very best staff has been recognised in this way. This is truly an outstanding result and one which should inspire confidence in our buyers.”
This award comes on the back of Barratt Developments being awarded five stars by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for customer satisfaction. Barratt is the only major national housebuilder to be ranked as five star by the HBF for the last seven years.
