Manchester agency Wolfe creates high-flying VR experience at London Waterloo
Live brand experience and event agency Wolfe has partnered with Qatar Airways to create new VR tech at London’s Waterloo station.
The activity allows customers to experience a demo of riding Business Class in one of the Middle Eastern carrier’s Airbus A350 aircraft via a full emersion video booth.
Laura Wolfe, managing director of Manchester-based Wolfe, said she and her team are excited to be working with Qatar Airways on “such a groundbreaking and exciting campaign”.
She added: “We trust that the activity will enable visitors to build a connection with the brand, based on the Qatar Airways level of service and quality of aircraft and destinations within the airline industry.”
The airline’s country manager for the UK and Ireland, Morena Bronzetti, commented: “Qatar Airways is delighted to invite London commuters to experience the comfort and elegance of our Business Class seat and enjoy an immersive 360-degree video tour of the cabin interior using Google street view technology”
In January last year, Qatar Airways became the first airline to launch aircraft manufacturer Airbus’ new A350. The carrier currently operates 11 A350s across its global network, with a further 69 on order.
Qatar Airways’ first daily A350 service to Heathrow arrived in the UK over the weekend (October 30) as the airline introduced the aircraft on its route from Hamad International Airport.
Wolfe’s Qatar Airways experience is at London Waterloo from 7.00am to 7.00pm today (November 1).
