Epic Year For Venturefest Winners
Rapidly expanding Manchester-based digital agency, Nothing But Epic, continues to add to its growing team with three new appointments in the past month following a raft of client wins and industry accolades.
Greg Clayton take up the role of lead web developer while Mark Enright joins as head of content. Completing the team is Emma Merchant who starts this month as social media executive.
Established just eighteen months ago by University of Manchester graduate Mike Anderson (27) and Craig Tomkins (25) the appointments take the team to 10 full time members of staff, just eighteen months after it launched. Based on Chester Street, the agency plans to expand to a team of 15 over the next six months.
Commenting on the new starters, Nothing But Epic’s Craig Tomkins said: “Greg, Mark and Emma join us at a pivotal time and will help us to expand our B2B offering, increase our influencer marketing service and also bring an added dimension to our content marketing team. We will continue to invest further into the team to ensure that we have the best talent in place to take us forward in 2017 and beyond.”
He added: “The past 18 months have been an incredible journey for us and our rapid growth has exceeded all of our early expectations. In September we won the Business Growth Hub’s £30,000 Venturefest prize and on the same day we were also highly commended in the Northern E-commerce Awards for Best Small Digital Agency.
“Since then the phone has not stopped ringing and we have picked up key accounts including e-commerce site KidsFuntimeBeds and Credit Ladder, the UK’s leading credit scoring company for home renters. We have also delivered Pot Kettle Black’s #RedMugShot campaign which doubled customer engagement on social media for the Barton Arcade-based coffee shop.
Co-Founders Mike and Craig started Nothing but Epic with the ambition to specialise in digital services for SME businesses which deliver clear return on investment, with a particular focus on e-commerce clients. On average the agency has picked up 3-4 new accounts each month since it launched and is actively looking for new premises to accommodate its growing team.
The Nothing But Epic team is also up for four Talk of Manchester Awards in December and founder Craig is nominated in the Manchester Young Talent awards which take place on the 17th November.
