Nuffield Health chooses London healthtech startup for care pathways platform
Private healthcare provider Nuffield Health has selected a London-based digital health company to help manage its care pathways and administration.
The Care Pathway Manager by Lambeth’s Lumeon has been deployed across 258 Nuffield sites to help facilities manage the administrative side of care, including booking, communications with patients, management and billing.
The tech firm’s platform attempts to simplify and streamline the complex workflows and pathways that healthcare providers must grapple with as part of the care they provide to patients.
Integrating a provider’s clinical and administrative systems, the digital health startup says that its platform can automate a patient’s journey through the system, personalising their care journey based on their individual data.
Robbie Hughes, Chief Executive Officer at Lumeon, said: “Nuffield Health is the latest leading healthcare provider who has selected us for the ability to manage their business at scale.
“With the addition of Nuffield Health, we are working with seven of the 10 largest commercial healthcare providers in the UK to deliver better outcomes at reduced costs. We look forward to working with Nuffield Health to help transform their business.”
Jonathan Byrd, Operations Director for Clinical Services at Nuffield Health added: “Our mission is to deliver exceptional care and innovative services to our customers and Lumeon allows us to focus on those efforts.
“By selecting Lumeon, we’ve found a business partner who can manage our needs today whilst scaling for our future growth.”
Lumeon, which already has the likes of Alliance Healthcare and Blossoms Healthcare utilising its platform, has already closed two multi-million pound funding rounds, including an £6.5m Series B in 2015.
