Ixis expands operations with new city centre office

North-West based digital agency Ixis IT has announced the opening of its new office space in Manchester city centre, ahead of a planned period of expansion.

Ixis, formerly based at the Brew House in south Warrington, specialises exclusively in Drupal services including consultancy, development, hosting and support. The company has over 12 years of experience providing digital services to Government departments, bodies and local authorities, including the British Council, Haringey Council, and the City of Westminster Council, as well as enterprise level businesses and international charities, including The Donkey Sanctuary and the Voluntary Service Overseas. The new central location, situated at 127 Portland Street, will accommodate future plans for expansion and provide a more accessible venue for clients.

Commenting on the Manchester expansion, Chris Haslam, Managing Director at Ixis, said: “Ixis grew from ten to 20 staff in 2014, and we’re looking to expand again over the next twelve months. The new office presents a great opportunity for us. Not only does it offer more flexibility in terms of workspace; it is also a more convenient location for clients.

“Moving to Manchester city centre puts us in the middle of a thriving tech scene; we’re very much looking forward to being a part of the hub and connecting with other digital agencies.”

As part of the new phase of growth, Ixis will also maintain a presence in central Warrington, having become one of the first companies to sign up for office space at The Base; the town’s new enterprise hub.
