Barratt Developments holds largest suppliers conference to date
Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, which includes both Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes, has further demonstrated its commitment to supporting local businesses through holding its most successful suppliers conference to date, with over 60 local suppliers heading to the Woodlands Hotel in Leeds to hear from a selection of Barratt directors.
The conference provided opportunity for a range of industry professionals to network and speak with fellow suppliers, as well as observing presentations from Barratt Yorkshire West’s Managing Director, Ian Ruthven and Commercial Director Martin Purdy. Barratt Developments has invested over 50 million pounds in local suppliers and subcontractors in the last calendar year across the region.
Martin Purdy, Commercial Director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire West commented:
“We’re delighted that our recent conference received such a great turnout. We’re very proud of our work with local suppliers, so for them to turn out in such large numbers is great to see. We truly strive for our homes to really reflect the regions in which they are built, so what better way to do this than by supporting local suppliers when building more homes!”
