Pattinson Auction win’s gold at the national industry awards
One of the UK’s biggest Estate Agents took the top spot at a special evening of industry awards this week.
The team at family run Pattinson’s Estate Agents had reason to celebrate on Tuesday night after being named Residential Auction House of the Year at the prestigious Negotiator Awards.
The firm employs almost 200 members of staff and has a specialist team dedicated to the growing auction market. Hosting auctions in Yorkshire, West Midlands, North West, Scotland and the North East.
The awards, held on Tuesday at the luxury London Hilton on Park Lane were hosted by comedian Ed Byrne, recognise the best of the UK’s residential property industry.
Pattinson’s Auction Manager Justin Beckwith said “The team at Pattinson Auctions pride themselves on delivering the best service to our clients and we are extremely proud to have that recognised. This award is testament to the fantastic hard work put in by our dedicated team”
The Negotiator Awards recognise Estate Agencies who provide exceptional service, outstanding marketing and excellent business success and they are judged by the industry leading experts including the Property Ombudsman.
Pattinson’s were chosen over four other auction houses from around the country to win the sought after Residential Auction House of the Year award, with the judges particularly impressed by the company’s innovative use of branding.
The awards came as it was reported the home hunters increased last month from August, according to figures from the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA).
Estate agents saw prospective buyers increase by a huge 16 per cent to 333 per branch on average from 287 month on month. It means demand is now at levels before the European Referendum in June.
At the same time, the number of sales agreed increased by 12.5 per cent in September to an average of nine per branch.
Justin added “Demand remains strong right across the UK and we are especially seeing more people turning to auction to seek their properties.”
