Flint Signage Business Scoops Pair of National Awards
Local signage design and manufacturing business, isGroup Signs, has been awarded two top national awards at the British Sign Awards.
The company, which is based in Flint, was named winner in both the Illuminated Sign of the Year and Wayfinding Scheme of the Year categories at the prestigious event, triumphing over a raft of industry giants.
The Illuminated Sign of the Year award was presented for the company’s challenging and exciting project with The Printworks in Manchester, where it was commissioned to create striking new signage for the tenant logos that sit along the façade of the listed building.
isGroup’s work with the NOMA development in Manchester was also praised for the high quality interpretation of the design concept utilising the company’s own Way2Go wayfinding product and named winner in the Wayfinding Scheme of the Year category.
As well as winning two awards at the ceremony, which celebrates excellence in the UK sign making industry, isGroup was highly commended in two other categories; Leisure Industry Sign, for its work at The Cornerhouse leisure complex in Nottingham and Product of the Year for its Way2Go modular wayfinding system.
Managing Director, Jane Whitehouse, said: “We were highly delighted to have just been nominated in these four prestigious categories. To win two awards is an honour and testament to the hard work, innovation, creativity and skill of the isGroup team.
“This year alone we have rebranded, celebrated 35 years in the industry, acquired new and exciting clients and now we have achieved these award wins! I would like to thank all of the team for its tireless dedication to always delivering the most creative and effective solutions for our clients.”
