Promotions Are On Production Line At Leeds Recruiter
LEEDS based recruitment company Futures.co.uk has made two high profile promotions within its specialist manufacturing division as part of the firm’s ongoing expansion plans.
Chris Griffin is now the Divisional Recruitment Manager for the firm’s 12-strong manufacturing team, which is known as Manufacturing Futures, and predominantly recruits directors, managers and engineers across all areas of the manufacturing industry. Chris takes over the role from well-known recruitment professional David Christie, who is planning to retire next year.
Mark Johnson has also been promoted to head up a recently formed division known as Food & Drink Futures, which specialises in senior interim and permanent recruitment for global food and drink manufacturers. Areas the team recruit into include management, operations, engineering, sales, technical, marketing and project management.
Tom Liptrot, managing director of Futures.co.uk, says: “Our manufacturing experience has always been a big part of our success and creating a dedicated team to service the food and drink sector is a natural expansion for us. Chris and Mark both have a great track record of continually going above and beyond what’s required, and being able to recognise those people who can genuinely add value and make a real difference to their clients, and they both thoroughly deserve these promotions.
“Following on from this restructure, we’re now looking to embark on another expansion programme and further grow our team of recruitment consultants who work across both the public and private sectors.”
This summer Futures.co.uk acquired a modern 5,300 square foot purpose built head office building, as part of an £850,000 investment, on Horsforth’s New Street. The company, which employs a 41 strong team across its three offices in Leeds, Manchester and London, recently delivered a 68% increase in turnover to £10.6m.
Futures.co.uk offers complete interim and permanent recruitment solutions within the private and public sectors. It has core areas of expertise in education, social care transformation, supply chain & logistics and manufacturing, which also includes a specialist food & drink manufacturing division, under the brands of Education Futures, Care Futures, Supply Chain Futures and Manufacturing Futures. More recently Futures.co.uk moved into the oil & gas sector and IT industry with the launch of Energy Futures and IT Futures.
