Together colleagues celebrate a century of service

Cheadle-based finance group, Together, hosted a momentous long service awards evening on Tuesday (15th) for a group of colleagues whose service milestones surpassed 100 years collectively.

The group of 14 colleagues have worked at the company for a combined 105 years, with eight employees reaching their five-year work anniversary, five celebrating a decade-long employment and one marking an impressive 15 years with the business.

Kevin Fisher, HR director at Together, said: “We regularly hold long service awards to celebrate with colleagues and to thank them for all their hard work, but to be celebrating over a century of service is monumental for us. Staff retention is a big focus here at Together, and we’re really proud that over a third of our colleagues have been with us for five years or more.

“We have some of the best talent in the industry and it’s fantastic to mark this wonderful milestone with a group of such dedicated colleagues. Given our ambitious growth plans, we’re continuing to recruit new talent, so this is a great testament to what we offer.”

As part of its colleague reward and benefits scheme, those celebrating five years of service will receive £1,000 worth of holiday vouchers, whilst those with ten and 15 years will receive holiday vouchers worth £2,500 and £5,000 respectively.

Together has seen significant growth in recent years, and is currently recruiting for more than 50 positions, many of which are newly-created as it moves forward with ambitious plans for further expansion.

As a specialist lender, Together offers short-term finance, auction finance, residential, commercial and buy-to-let mortgages, and secured loans, and earlier this year announced record results, with annual lending across the group topping £1 billion for the first time, an increase of almost 40% on the previous year.
