Hull's Anlaby Retail Park welcomes three new store openings

Anlaby Retail Park in Hull has welcomed a trio of new store openings.

Among the three new stores is fashion retailer Peacocks, which has taken a 4,782 sq ft unit on a 10 year lease.

Cancer Research has also secured a unit at 3,493 sq ft on a 10 year lease, and is anticipated to open in December 2016.

The Iceland Food Warehouse has also opened its store, after signing up to its unit in June.

The openings of Peacocks, Cancer Research and The Food Warehouse follow a number of retailers and leisure operators to secure units at Anlaby Retail Park, including brands such as Next, Argos, Asda Living, Marks and Spencer, and Costa Coffee.

James Maule-Ffinch, senior asset manager at The Derwent Group, said: “The store openings of Peacocks, Cancer Research and The Food Warehouse will make a strong addition to the diverse mix of tenants who have already committed to securing their units at Anlaby Retail Park.

“These new tenants will serve to further strengthen the high quality retail and leisure offering we are seeking to develop for Anlaby.”

Situated on Springfield Way, Anlaby Retail Park will provide 104,000 sq ft of prime retail space and 471 free car parking spaces.

CSP and Petch & Co are the appointed agents for Anlaby Retail Park.
