Raft of promotions at Southampton law firm

The Southampton office of national law firm Bond Dickinson LLP has announced a number of staff promotions.

The firm has appointed Kate Steel in the Corporate and Commercial team to the role of Managing Associate whilst three Solicitors were promoted to the role of Associate including Simon Casey and Garry Pike in the Dispute Resolution team and Cole Stacey in the Corporate and Commercial team.

Jon Hales, Head of Bond Dickinson’s Southampton office, said: “As an employer, we understand the need to offer our staff the right opportunities for growth, enabling our people to progress in their career with us. We’re very proud of the talent held within our firm and all those promoted have made a significant contribution to the firm that deserves to be recognised.”

The good news in Southampton is part of a wider string of promotions nationally with a total of 27 promotions announced across the firm’s offices in Newcastle, Leeds, London, Plymouth, Bristol and Southampton, where more than 150 staff are employed.

Bond Dickinson is ranked 126 in the top 300 graduate employers in the UK in this year’s Guardian UK 300. Last month, the firm also won ‘Newcomer Employer of the Year’ at the South West Regional Apprenticeship Awards in recognition of the legal apprenticeship scheme the firm offers. Bond Dickinson was amongst the first law firms to make legal apprenticeships available, with the first apprentices joining the business in 2014.
