Washington sign making firm creates new jobs
Washington sign making firm Discount Vehicle Lettering Company (DVLC) has created three new jobs and invested in new digital print machinery as it looks to expand its business.
The enterprise, which specialises in providing promotional point of sale signage for the motor industry, was launched by husband and wife duo Mark and Helen Taylor 19 years ago.
Now, the company produces work for car manufacturers as well as both national and regional retail motor groups. In addition, the business produces and install vehicle fleet livery for a multitude of SMEs.
Vertu Motors PLC, Jardine Motors PLC and Mill Garages North East are amongst companies with vested North East interested to have benefitted from the firm’s sale signage services.
Mark Taylor said: “We are passionate about giving our clients the best possible service and it has really reaped rewards with repeat business and word of mouth recommendations.
“Our new jobs will be in the production and design part of our business, to help with our increased workload.
“The new print machinery is also going to be really beneficial as it will boost our capacity, especially for high volume urgent jobs.”
