Vehicle finance provider named in Fast Track list

A Manchester provider of online car finance has been named number five on the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100, a league table of the top 100 private companies in the UK with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years.

CarFinance 247, which offers loans from a panel of 15 lenders, was founded by brothers and entrepreneurs Reg and Louis Rix who recently announced figures that revealed another year of phenomenal growth, with turnover up 154% year on year. During its last financial year, the company supplied almost £210m worth of loans, a growth of 122% on the previous year.

The business is supported by Manchester law firm Clarke Willmott LLP. Client Partner Emma Hamnett said: “This is yet another great acknowledgment of the achievements made by Reg and Louis and is indicative of the brilliant business model they have, their truly entrepreneurial outlook and their customer facing approach.
