New year promotions for Lodders’ duo
Midlands and South West law firm Lodders has announced promotions and new senior roles for two key members of its marketing department and compliance team.
Professional services marketing specialist Hollie Coyne is promoted to Marketing Manager after four years as Marketing Executive at the firm.
Samantha Haines has been promoted to the newly created position of Director of Risk and Compliance, from her previous role as Lodders’ compliance manager since 2008.
Both Hollie and Samantha are based at Lodders’ Stratford upon Avon office, and provide support to the firm’s office network across Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and the North Cotswolds.
As Marketing Manager, Hollie will continue to take a central role in the planning and implementation of Lodders’ marketing strategy and programme of events, alongside the firm’s marketing director Hilary Campton, marketing assistant Kate Higginson, and marketing partner Paul Mourton.
Hollie recently achieved Distinction in the Chartered Institute of Marketing Certificate in Professional Marketing and is a member of the West Midlands Regional Committee of The Professional Marketing Forum. She holds the Level 3 CILEX qualification, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and is chair of Lodders’ Business Development Committee.
As the firm’s new Director of Risk and Compliance, Samantha Haines will maintain focus on anti-money laundering and compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority. In addition, she will address anti-bribery compliance, Lexcel and Investors in People accreditations, and data protection for the firm. Alongside her full-time role at Lodders, Samantha has set up and runs a Compliance Forum for regional and national law firms that provides a route to keeping up to date with developments and sharing best practice.
Commenting on Hollie’s promotion, Paul Mourton said: “Hollie is a vital member of our marketing team and her promotion is in recognition of her commitment, hard work and dedication that enables the firm to deliver a highly creative, robust marketing strategy and events programme.”
On Samantha’s new role, Lodders managing partner Rod Bird added: “There are many hidden roles within a business to help it run smoothly and none more important than ensuring the firm’s compliance in each and every aspect of our work for clients and the service and advice we deliver. Samantha is skilful at understanding and interpreting complex compliance issues quickly and in turn providing the rest of the firm with timely and important training on new legislation or guidance.”
