Design agency Web Foundry establishes Wilmslow base

Web design and development agency Web Foundry has given its North West footprint a boost with the launch of a new Cheshire base.

The company, which has offices in MediaCity, Edinburgh and Warsaw, is embarking on a new chapter in its growth strategy after moving into the Colony on Altrincham Road, Wilmslow.

The expansion follows a year that saw Web Foundry achieve a 20% increase in turnover and secure a raft of new clients, including Warrington-based ARMSA Consulting and Cheadle’s Thorn Grove Primary School.

In addition to increasing its geographical reach, the business is this year looking to expand its team, including the recruitment of a project manager.

Managing director Phil Holt, who is local to Wilmslow, said: “It’s been a really strong year for the business since we opened our Manchester office last July and we’re proud to have found our place in the North West’s thriving digital scene.

“As I know Wilmslow well, it really feels like a good home for Web Foundry. Our new office gives us space to grow and we’re well placed to serve businesses across Greater Manchester and beyond.”

He added: “I’m privileged to work with several local businesses in Wilmslow already and am looking forward to cementing Web Foundry as part of this vibrant community.”
