GLR Public Relations makes new appointment
GLR Public Relations has extended its team with the appointment of Emily Boswell into the role of PR assistant.
The Yorkshire-based agency, which specialises in PR, crisis communications and social media for the financial services and healthcare sectors, hired Boswell following a period of internship.
An English language and linguistics graduate from The University of Sheffield who is also studying towards a CIPR Advanced Certificate, Boswell is the second appointment made by the agency in the last six months following a period of growth through contract extensions and new business wins.
Boswell adds: “I’m really thrilled to be part of the team at GLR Public Relations. It’s an agency with real ambition and energy.”
GLR Public Relations works with brands including Mazars LLP, the IDH Group, mydentist and The Mortgage Lender.
Account director of GLR Public Relations, Sarah Learoyd adds: “We’re a PR consultancy that is completely different to the rest and that’s down to our people. Emily impressed us during her internship and has quickly become a valuable member of the team. We’re delighted she has joined us.”
GLR Public Relations was established in 2013 by former journalist, Joanne Gill. The firm employs five people from its offices at Wharfebank Business Centre in Otley.
