Do you want to take the next step and study something you’re really passionate about? Many people decide to make a fresh start or take up new things in the New Year. Learning some skills for a hobby or even a new career could be much easier and cheaper than you think.

This year you can own your future and really make your dreams come true with TyneMet College! We have various start dates throughout January and the New Year with a wide range of courses on offer, including full-time to part-time and apprenticeships to degree level study!

If you were unsure of what you wanted to do after school, but now have an idea of what direction you want to go in, why wait until September to enrol onto a course? January starts are available at TyneMet so you can start on your path to your dream career now!

We also have a range of courses aimed for people interested in learning new skills or starting a brand new career where you can gain a recognised qualification while getting worthwhile insight into your chosen subject.

The courses we have on offer include: Apprenticeships, Beauty Therapy, Catering, Counselling, Creative Industries, Education & Training, Engineering, Floristry, Hairdressing & Barbering, Health & Social Care, ESOL, Prince’s Trust and Sport.

There is funding available to students aged 19 and over that are wanting to enrol onto a course. The Advanced Learner Loan is there to support students while they study. The loan is easy to apply for and doesn’t involve a credit check. For more information you can get in touch with our Gateway team.

TyneMet College is on the Coast Road Campus in Wallsend which is easily accessible by car or public transport. There are a range of campus amenities which you can enjoy, including a gym and restaurant!
