Expertise Homecare West London launches in Hounslow

An innovative new home care company that aims to provide high-quality, high-tech care to people living in and around West London has officially launched.

Expertise Homecare West London was launched at an official event attended by the former mayor of Hounslow, Councillor Corinna Smart, along with other local business leaders and community groups.

The launch follows Expertise Homecare West London gaining its Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration on 17th November 2016. The company has already employed ten experienced, registered carers and is looking to expand that number as it grows.

Speaking at the launch, Cllr Corinna Smart, said: “There are many people in Hounslow and the surrounding areas who wish to remain in their own homes, but need a little extra support in order to do so.

“Expertise Homecare West London will play a valuable and much-needed part in serving these people’s needs and making their lives easier while at home. This business will also boost Hounslow’s local economy by offering new employment opportunities to the community.”

The Expertise Homecare West London franchise is owned by Taz Hassanali and Harroon Latif who also own and operate the Hounslow East Pharmacy on Kingsley Road, Hounslow. Amit Kumar is the Registered Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day running and organisation of the business.

Amit said: “There is a real need for quality, reliable homecare across West London and we are excited to launch our services to residents who need that extra help in their own homes.

“Our ethos is transparency and quality; the state-of-the-art reporting system we employ will enable our carers to deliver first-class service while providing peace of mind to relatives that their loved ones have been given the care they require.”

The Hounslow-based company’s simple-to-use, real time notification system is just one example of its industry-leading innovation. This system allows carers to chart their progress on a hand-held device as they complete each task during each visit – making paper care plans, hand-written records and notes, and incessant filing a thing of the past. This time-saving software also sends automated e-mail notifications to family members, letting them see all completed actions; that a meal has been eaten or medication has been given.

The reporting system feeds into Expertise Homecare’s main aim; to make the delivery of care more straightforward, raise standards, and also provide families with much-needed reassurance.

Areas that Expertise Homecare West London serves include Hounslow, Brentford, Hammersmith, Fulham, Notting Hill, Feltham and Ealing.
