Angel Central adds to agent mix with appointment of niche retail consultants
CBRE Global Investors have appointed CWM as joint agent on retail leasing at one of North London’s biggest retail and leisure destinations.
The appointment of the retail consultants at Angel Central comes at a time of significant investment for the shopping destination after it set about expanding its tenant mix last year.
Both CBRE and BNP Paribas Real Estate are the current joint brokers on leisure leasing at the 150,000 sq ft North London venue.
The site’s owners, CBRE Global Investors, are set to initiate a programme of enhancements and refurbishment at Angel Central this year after the property firm instructed development manager Queensberry to carry out a feasibility report on potential improvements to ensure the leisure and shopping venue remains competitive.
Laura Wilson-Brown, Director of Separate Accounts – UK at CBRE Global Investors, commented: “We are delighted to have expanded the Angel Central team with the appointment of CWM.
“They bring a detailed knowledge of London that is the perfect complement to CBRE’s skills and expertise.
“This is a very exciting time for Angel Central and we now have a very strong team to deliver our vision of creating a vibrant, welcoming and highly successful retail and leisure destination in the heart of one of the most exciting areas of London.”
CWN Partner, David Sanderson, commented: “Angel Central is a great instruction for CWM, one being very close to our heart having previously worked on it for 10 years. It is now an exciting time to join the team with a clear vision from CBRE Global Investors, we are confident of securing a number of great new brands in the future.”
“The centre is right in the heart of Islington, one of the best opportunity locations in the capital. Combined with a clear vision from CBRE Global Investors, one that is matched by a commitment to deliver, we are confident of securing a number of great new brands over the coming months.”
