Amsource Technology opens up first office in Manchester!
In line with our growth plans we are delighted to announce that we are expanding our operations further afield into a new location, Manchester!
We’ve spoken a lot in previous posts about the vibrant tech scene present here in the North. Manchester over recent years has been a key area driving the Digital Northern Powerhouse ideology and has established itself as one of the top 5 tech clusters in the UK, with the second highest GVA growth and has over 50,000 people employed in the digital sector. The city is attracting an array of exciting organisations who are choosing to set up their digital operations there: ThoughtWorks, The BBC, Sainsbury’s, Bet365, BJSS, Barclays, Google and Auto-trader to name but a few. The next few months will be extremely exciting and busy for us, we’ll be recruiting more team members into our Manchester City Centre outfit and continuing to provide a more targeted service offering to our Lancashire based clients and candidates. We’ll be on the lookout for self- motivated, driven and talented individuals who will join us and be an asset to our recruitment team. (If you think have what it takes? Click here.) We’re looking forward to hosting more of our successful Tech//Connect events where we’ll be able to engage more with our Manchester based thought leaders and meet the digital community of the city. The digital scene in Manchester is booming and will no doubt prove to be a great choice of location to keep our consultants jam packed with activity! Here’s what our Managing Director Andrew has to say …“Manchester is already a key location where we work with a number of organisations providing talent across software development and digital technology. I am keen for us to further develop our footprint across Manchester and the North West, and I see a permanent presence in the City as a key success factor to enable this to happen. Manchester is well documented to be a UK leader in the digital space, along with being a key player in building the Northern Powerhouse.
The tech start up scene is huge in Manchester and we’re looking forward to working with organisations both large and small to help them secure the best talent for their teams. Adding value beyond traditional recruitment services and connecting with the market is one of our key values, and we are delighted to be sponsoring Digital Agenda’s City Impact Dinner in conjunction with KPMG, where key business leaders will discuss how technology can improve the City in an inclusive manner. We will also be hosting our successful Tech//Connect events in the city which have proven to be extremely popular, covering topics such as Women in Tech, Microservices Architecture and DevOps. We will be looking to grow and add to our team significantly in Q1 and Q2 of 2017.“ Stay tuned for updates regarding our new location in Manchester and also our new office move in Leeds, coming soon!
