DCS expands team with first female engineer
Boston Spa-based IT provider, Deans Computer Services (DCS), has expanded its technical support team with the appointment of Sarah Hanna as engineer.
Sarah is the company’s first female engineer and will play a key role as the latest member of its maintenance department. For the past 12 years she has worked for various legal firms, most recently in a facilities and IT management role which included audio visual and IT resources across 29 meeting rooms. Sarah’s wide-ranging expertise is now being provided for maintenance and troubleshooting on behalf of DCS clients throughout the UK.
DCS technical director, Chris Lord, said: “DCS are delighted to welcome Sarah to our maintenance department, which is our largest in terms of personnel and represents a vital part of our service to SMEs in conjunction with our software solutions, systems consultancy, IT security, installation services, training and support and bespoke programming. The experience, professionalism and technical skills of our engineers provide an outstanding resource for DCS customers and Sarah’s superb track record certainly meets the company’s exacting requirements.”
Married with two children, Sarah lives in Leeds and enjoys much of her spare time dancing and keeping fit in the gym.
