FASTSIGNS Global CEO Flies Into Kingston Upon Thames
Local signs, graphics and visual communications provider FASTSIGNS Kingston upon Thames received national recognition at the company’s annual awards ceremony as part of the 2016 FASTSIGNS Stronger Together, UK Convention which was recently held at Fawsley Hall, Daventry.
The locally owned and operated centre received 2nd place in the Sales Achievement Award category. The award recognises the top three centres in the country with the highest sales volume in the United Kingdom, with Kingston achieving sales in excess of £674,000.
“This award is a fantastic representation of just what our centre can do” said owner, Mark Phelps. It comes at the perfect moment too; we have just completed the expansion of our centre into the adjoining building and made a six-figure investment in new equipment. The result has been a 30 per cent increase in the value of goods produced in-house. My eyes are firmly on the number one spot at the 2017 awards!”
The Kingston upon Thames centre has also recently enjoyed a visit from the FASTSIGNS global CEO, Catherine Monson who visited the UK to enjoy a tour of the UK centres and deliver a keynote speech at the UK convention.
Catherine said of the centre:
“Mark and the team have made savvy business decisions to develop their centre with the resources available to them. The recent investment of acquiring the adjoining unit shows how dedicated they are to remaining at the forefront of the industry and by investing in new equipment and staff training they are safe guarding the business for the future.
