Lancashire paint manufacturer Crown signs full-year Sky Sports News HQ deal
Paint manufacturer Crown Paints has signed a new sponsorship deal with Sky Sports News HQ that will see its brands and services aired on screens throughout 2017.
The Lancashire-based company’s Crown Trade, Sadolin, Sandtex and Crown Decorating Centres brands will feature year round on the station’s 10pm bulletin, which reaches almost 5m adult men.
The agreement marks four years of collaboration between the two organisations and is Crown Paints’ third full year of sponsorship.
As part of the deal, Crown Paints’ brands will take over the SkySports.com homepage, as well as Sky Sports’ mobile and social media sites, at four dates in the year to offer a range of initiatives.
Debbie Orr, marketing manager at Darwen-based Crown Paints, said: “Our partnership with Sky Sports News HQ is going from strength to strength and it’s the perfect platform for us.
“We are able to use this ‘must-have’ TV channel to reach millions of sports fans and share information about our brands and service in a personal and highly-engaging way.”
Established in 1988, Sky Sports News HQ rebranded and moved to Sky channel 401 in August 2014.
Crown Paints plans to provide further updates on its homepage takeovers in the coming months.
