Doors and Windows giant moves into Stockport
Safestyle UK plc has moved its regional customer call centre into Stockport’s Grosvenor House, run by Orbit Developments, the town centre’s largest commercial landlord.
The leading retailer and manufacturer of PVCu replacement windows and doors for the homeowner replacement market, has taken just over 2,000 sq ft in the building, adjacent to Wellington Road South.
Merrick Nind, Branch Manager for the new sales and training centre, said the space offer was a big improvement on previous offices. “The building has been refurbished including improved high speed broadband and has met all our needs.”
Grosvenor House has recently undergone a programme of refurbishment with a new reception area and Virgin Media is now providing high speed broadband for all customers in the building.
Rhys Owen, Leasing Director for Orbit Developments in Stockport, said that Safestyle’s move reflected a general trend.
“We are getting increased enquiries from established UK companies looking for good quality office space for teams of regionally-based employees. Grosvenor House is in the very centre of Stockport, across the road from the College and a few minutes’ walk from the train station that serves a wide variety of routes and destinations including Manchester Piccadilly in 6 minutes.
He continued: “Ease of access for employees has been an important consideration for companies coming into the building.”
Alongside onsite parking, a range of parking options are available near to the building including some with special discounts for customers.
