The transactions include 10,500 sq ft to tiling business Junction 8 Tile and Stone

Lettings totalling 33,000 sq ft announced at Ellesmere Port’s Junction 8 business park

Just two units remain at Junction 8 Trade & Business Park, Ellesmere Port, after the site’s agents secured a raft of new lettings.

Hitchcock Wright & Partners has announced new deals totalling more than 33,000 sq ft at the business park, which is located off Junction 8 of the M53 in Cheshire.

The transactions include 10,500 sq ft to tiling business Junction 8 Tile and Stone, 3,000 sq ft to kitchens and bathrooms company Granite Transformations and 5,000 sq ft to vehicle parts supplier FP&S.

Further deals have been signed with electrical trade wholesaler Rexel, ceiling firm Be-Plas and an as-yet unnamed national transport provider.

Junction 8 Trade & Business Park is already home to tool retailer Screwfix and equipment rental firm Speedy Hire, among others.

Now, only two 5,000 sq ft units remain available.

The development has recently undergone a refurbishment, with units receiving new profiled steel cladding on elevations and roofs, enhanced landscaping and motorised roller shutters.

Nick Harrop, a partner at Hitchcock Wright & Partners, said: “In the last 18 months we have let units to both national and local trade counter businesses who were attracted to the site because of its excellent location and accessibility.

“With only two remaining units to let, we predict that the strong demand in Junction 8 Trade & Business Park will continue, especially with such an established list of occupiers on site.”

CBRE is a joint agent on the scheme alongside Hitchcock Wright.
