Internationally renowned doctors join Havas Lynx Manchester

Award-winning healthcare creative agency, Havas Lynx, has bolstered its existing medical team with the announcement of three important new appointments – including the internationally renowned Dr Jack Kreindler.

Kreindler brings with him decades of experience and unrivalled expertise to the niche healthcare marketing industry. Jack is founder and medical director of CHHP, the Centre for Health and Performance in London as well as several other ground-breaking medical technology companies based in California. At Havas Lynx, Kreindler will oversee campaign development, working closely with the creative team to ensure campaigns are informed by thorough, scientific insight.

He is joined by two rising young stars, Dr Ben Harman-Jones and Dr Yasmin Ghani, brought in to inject exciting new ideas which can be harnessed to reach the tech-savvy, social media weaned “Millennial generation.” Notably, all three appointments follow the agency’s award-winning Millennial Healthcare Professional (HCP) campaign, published last year.

Havas Lynx’s continued investment in medical consultancy signals the agency’s mission to grow its reputation as a leader and innovator in creative healthcare communications. It is also symptomatic of its rapid expansion, which has seen the Manchester and London based agency double in size during the last 5 years. The group now employs more than 70 creatives, making it one of the biggest creative healthcare department in Europe. In the last 5 years, the team have won over 50 awards for their pioneering healthcare campaigns.

About the new experts:

Dr Jack Kreindler is a physician, technology entrepreneur, and internationally renowned speaker on the future of medicine. He is also a regular medical pundit for CNBC, Sky Sports, BT Sport and the BBC. Most recently, Kreindler co-organised the TEDxLondon 2016 event at the London Science Museum and is now been appointed guest curator for Wired Health.

During their collaboration on Havas Lynx’s Millennial HCP whitepaper campaign, Kreindler and the agency were inspired by a shared ambition to combine science and creativity to help transform the narrative landscape of science and medicine.

Harman-Jones has a MBChB Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and has spent the past year working in medicine at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. He will be working closely with the Havas Lynx team to provide medical expertise across key accounts.

Ghani has a MBChB Bachelor of Medicine degree and joins Havas Lynx from Sydney, where she has spent the past two years as a Medical Officer at NSW Health.

Alongside the new appointments, there have also been changes to the existing team, with Dr Vernon Bainton promoted to Chief Medical Officer and he will now join the Board of Directors. Since joining Havas Lynx in 2015, Vernon has worked closely with the agency, providing invaluable medical and strategic consultation.

David Hunt, CEO said:

“These new appointments demonstrate Havas Lynx’s 100% commitment to combining science and creativity to deliver compelling campaigns that improve patient outcomes.

“Despite a tough economic climate in the last few years, Havas Lynx has thrived, now employing over 250 people in Manchester and London, and has a turnover of more than £25 million. Our success internationally has much to do with our unparalleled medical expertise, without whom our creatives could not produce award-winning, and scientific campaigns.

“We’re privileged to have such an illustrious team of medical professionals join us. Dr Kreindler’s unrivalled medical wisdom and experience, coupled with two talented young doctors who represent the next generation in healthcare - is a powerful asset. As an agency, we never stop wanting to be better at what we do, for ourselves and ultimately for patients on the receiving end of our clients’ life-changing healthcare interventions.”
