London & Oriental reveal new mixed-use development at former Labour Party HQ

Property developers, London & Oriental, have revealed plans for the redevelopment project at 64-65 Buckingham Gate in SW1.

The project, dubbed Buckingham Green, will deliver 240,000 sq ft of mixed-use space to area between Victoria and St James in Westminster, set across four buildings that include three new towers.

Located on the site of the former Labour Party and Rolls Royce headquarters, the project includes a reimagined 16-storey tower comprising both residential and office space, a second tower that will include 24,715 sq ft of flexible office space, 28,183 sq ft of office space over five floors in the third tower and a further 2,491 sq ft of office accommodation at the Gate House building on the south side of the development.

The Fletcher Priest Architects-designed scheme, which is due for completion in Q2 of 2018, will also boast 65 private rented sector apartments and 11,334 sq ft of ‘high quality’ retail.
