Five Guys bites into Liverpool ONE restaurant scene
American burger brand Five Guys is coming to Liverpool ONE.
The restaurant operator has signed up for a 4,822 sq ft site on The Terrace, according to property firm Grosvenor Europe.
The new venue, which will have space for up to 175 guests, will open this summer.
Five Guys’ head of property, Neville Mailing, said: “Securing a location on The Terrace at Liverpool ONE fulfills a long-held ambition for Five Guys.
“We are in a prime location in one of the UK’s prime cities.”
The Terrace, Liverpool ONE’s premier dining area, is already home to Wagamama, Pizza Express, GBK and several other restaurant chains, as well as 18-screen Odeon cinema.
Grosvenor Europe portfolio director Miles Dunnett said: “The signing of Five Guys on The Terrace is another great outcome of our strategy of actively managing Liverpool ONE’s offer to ensure we provide the very best mix for visitors, be they living in Liverpool, the wider North West region, or the growing number of UK and international tourists.”
Five Guys is the latest in a string of companies to snap up space at the shopping and leisure hub in recent months.
Sports fashion retailer JD is moving into an upsized unit on Paradise Street, creating a new 40,000 sq ft regional flagship store.
GUESS, the global lifestyle and fashion brand, has likewise announced plans to establish a new flagship store at Liverpool ONE.
Real estate advisory firms Metis and Cushman & Wakefield represented Liverpool ONE in the deal, while Central Retail acted for Five Guys.
