MIS AMS welcomes newest recruit
MIS Active Management Systems (MIS AMS) has welcomed in 2017 by greeting their newest employee. Karina Al-Hakim has joined the team by stepping into the role of New Business Consultant for the Gadbrook Park-based business and is already finding her MIS feet with its flourishing client list.
Karina, 37, from Northwich, previously a Quality Assurance Officer at Stockport Council, has joined the ever-growing team of 49 employees to lead customer account management, but also support the wider MIS team on projects, demonstrations and tenders.
Chris McLaughlin, Managing Director, said Karina has been the perfect addition to his team to deal with the pace of new projects and client wins: “2017 is set to be one of the busiest years for us to date and we needed to ensure we had the right team in place to deal with the demand. Everyone here enjoys a challenge, but we needed to guarantee our current clients still receive the optimum level of service they are used to as we go after new business.”
“I am very proud of the people that work for MIS AMS, and I feel that Karina is the perfect fit to help manage and guide our customers, but also be the face of the business as we tackle our busy calendar of events this year. She joins us with proven customer experience and account management. Karina will provide hands-on guidance, support and leadership across the business as we implement our exciting, strategic plans in 2017.”
Karina commented on her new role and the exciting start to her 2017: “I was looking for a new challenge and a different environment. Having always worked in Government settings, I was keen to move away from the public sector to gain a different perspective and experience. The exciting growth plans of MIS is a great opportunity for me to add genuine value at a key stage of the business.
“From the very first week everyone here has been so welcoming, supportive and helpful. Coming into my new office felt normal within days and this is due to the great personalities that flow right across MIS. I feel privileged to work with such a high calibre of staff and I’m very much looking forward to my future with MIS AMS.”
