Tottenham Hotspur Stadium update: New West Stand taking shape as hunt goes on for naming partner

New images released by Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have revealed the rapid pace of construction at their new £750m stadium as the new ground’s West Stand begins to take shape.

The skeletal frame of the first two tiers of both the North Stand and West Stand of the new ground are currently in place, with construction beginning on the stadium’s East Stand giving fans a better impression of how the 61,000 seater stadium will look once finished.

Construction on the 17,000 single tier stand to the South will not begin until the end of this season when the North Stand of their current White Hart Lane home makes way for the impressive new Kop.

The images come as the Tottenham hierarchy continues to hunt for a stadium naming sponsor with sources claiming the North London club is eyeing a record-breaking £400m deal with potential big name sponsors such as Uber and Nike rumoured previously.

Meanwhile, The Times reported last week that the Premier League club had spoken to over 300 potential suitors with Chairman, Daniel Levy, hopeful he can recoup a large chunk of their outlay for the new stadium with a suitable naming partner.

Further preparations for their big move in 2018 have progressed this week after the club agreed a 10-year deal with Levy Restaurants UK to provide catering and events services at their new stadium once it has opened.
