Barclays backing styles Eson Salon expansion
North East businessman Nevzat Ozmeral has revealed expansion plans for his North Tyneside-based men’s grooming business, Eson Salon Supplies Ltd.
Following funding from Barclays, Mr Ozmeral is embarking on the next stage in his entrepreneurial journey by purchasing the company’s premises at Brentwood Grove Garage, Wallsend.
Eson Salon, which employs 12 people and expects to turnover £400k this year, specialises in men’s grooming products.
The business sells stock items to local hairdressers, importing items such as hair wax, gel and shampoos form Turkey and wholesaling across the region.
Nevzat Ozmeral, Managing Director, Eson Salon Supplies Ltd said: “Starting my business was a dream and it’s been rewarding see it grow and go from strength to strength.
“We previously rented our premises and completing on the purchase secures the future of the business and takes it to the next phase of growth. It’s great that Barclays were able to help fund the site with a commercial mortgage and we are now planning to refurbish the premises.”
Stewart Blackett, Barclays Business Relationship Manager put together the funding package for the deal and said: “It’s great to be able to support a local business that is thriving and expanding for the future and contributing to the local economy.
“This is an exciting new phase for the business and the future looks bright for Nevzat and his team.”
