Brand new Boots UK store open for business at Leeds Bradford Airport
The brand new Boots UK store at Leeds Bradford Airport is now officially open.
The store, which is located in the departure lounge, has opened its doors ahead of what is expected to LBA’s busiest summer season.
The 100m2 store stocks a wide range of travel essentials including healthcare, suncare, toiletries and miniatures.
Customers are able to purchase items from the store’s food and drink range, which is available as part of the Boots Meal Deal, and deals are also available on 3 for 2 on No7 skincare.
The Boots Order and Collect Service is also available from this store, which has created 12 new jobs in the airport.
Darren Fussey, new store manager at Boots Leeds Bradford Airport, commented “We are thrilled to be a part of an exciting time of redevelopment with in the heart of the airport, and to officially open the doors of our brand new retail unit in partnership with LBA.
“We believe that we can really make a difference to the healthcare and beauty needs of the community in LBA, including not only the huge number of people who travel from the airport each year, but also its large workforce.
“Our new store can offer true convenience to our customers no matter where they are travelling from; using our Order and Collect Service*, to those looking to grab last minute essentials before a summer holiday, or looking for great value food at the airport.”
Asif Aziz, director for stores in the South and Airports at Boots UK, visited LBA to officially open the new retail unit with Paul French, CFO and Richard Aldridge, commercial manager at LBA.
Paul French, CFO at Leeds Bradford Airport, said: “It’s fantastic to have officially opened the new Boots unit in the departure lounge at LBA today. I’d like to thank Asif Aziz for his time in visiting LBA to jointly cut the ribbon, marking this fantastic new chapter in our commercial offering at LBA.
“Boots is a prestigious national brand and so this store opening is a positive sign of confidence in what we have to offer here at LBA and I’m sure it’ll be welcomed by our passengers. We very much look forward to working with the Boots team to make it a huge success.
“This store has created further jobs at the airport and we are pleased to open it in time for what will be our busiest summer ever.”
The store will open daily in line with the first and last flights from the airport.
