Price up those prize possessions
It’s time to dust off the antiques and polish up the silverware as a special jewellery roadshow and valuation day is coming to the north east.
Fraser Hart, at Gateshead’s intu Metrocentre, is hosting a jewellery, watch and silverware valuation day on Tuesday 7 March and the store is inviting shoppers to come along and have a professional put a price on their prize possessions.
For a fixed fee, highly qualified expert valuers from Safeguard, the UK’s leading Valuation Service Company, will photograph and assess each piece and issue an independent valuation on the day. Clients will also receive a full valuation report folder in the post which contains a detailed description, digital photographs and statement of value for each individual item.
Other services are also available including premium valuation portfolios and watch authentication reports.
June Forster, manager of Fraser Hart, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity to see a specialist jewellery, watch and silverware valuer who is experienced at valuing everything from rare antiques to the latest contemporary styles.
“With the rise in both gold and diamond prices, an item purchased 10 years ago can now be worth much more than the original retail price. Having up to date valuations ensures that the owner is adequately insured against theft, loss or even cost of repair.
“Our valuation days are always incredibly popular so we would urge people to book an appointment as soon as possible to ensure that they are seen on the day”.
Places are limited, so booking an appointment is essential to avoid disappointment. For this event only, valuation is priced at £55 for the first item and £35 per additional item - to book a consultation contact Fraser Hart on 0191 4607401.
