Cowgill Holloway to host live Budget event

Leading accountants and advisory firm, Cowgill Holloway LLP, is set to host a Spring Budget live screening and panel event on Wednesday 8th March.

The event, which will see businesses from across the region meet to watch the Chancellor’s 2017 Spring Budget live, will be hosted by Michael Taylor from Manchester Metropolitan University. Joining Michael will be a panel of industry professionals providing exclusive insight following the announcement. Sitting on the panel will be John Ashcroft from Pro Manchester, Chris Ducker from Seventy7 Group, Anil Pitalia from SpaMedica, Martin Toogood from Hartley Botanic and Lisa Wilson from Cowgill Holloway.

This is the second year the firm will host the event, following on from last year’s success. It will be taking place at the A J Bell Stadium.

Proceedings will be kicking off at 11.30am followed by lunch and a welcome message. The budget will be live streamed from 12.30pm followed by the panel discussion and a question and answer session.

Commenting on the event Lisa Wilson, Head of Tax at Cowgill Holloway, said: “Deciphering how the budget will affect clients and the economy is always difficult given the speculation both before and after the announcement. Watching the action unfold live and receiving instant first hand reaction from our expert panel cuts through the noise. Business leaders wish to listen and contribute to the debate in order to bring context and clarity to the impact of the proposals on their own businesses.”

Cowgill Holloway is a leading independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors based in the North West, with offices in Bolton, Manchester and Liverpool. Established for more than 30 years, with a team of 150, we work with all types of businesses.

Places for the event are limited, so the firm requests that those interested in attending should register their interest at http://www.cowgills.co.uk/budget-event-2017/
