Exposure Digital wins agency of the year
Exposure Digital is celebrating after winning agency of the year at the MAA Best Awards last night, becoming the first ever digital agency to win the accolade. This year’s MAA’s focused on the theme of #DoDifferent, showcasing the most innovative and mould-breaking thinking produced by the UK’s top creative talent.
The agency was awarded agency of the year not just for its exemplary client work but for how it embodies the MAA’s championing of future-thinking agencies and those that are ‘doing different’.
In the last 18 months, Exposure Digital has created a range of award-winning campaigns, including launching Thorpe Park’s latest attraction, Derren Brown’s Ghost Train; developing #NotForMe for Thomson Cruises, a campaign that broke the mould for the travel industry with an integrated approach rooted in social; and a totally new education platform for Microsoft with initiatives including #DoAnything and #FutureProofYourself, helping Microsoft Surface build credibility and desirability with a younger audience.
Beyond these communications-based campaigns, Exposure Digital has been responsible for some beautifully crafted site builds; using real life models to showcase each product size in Triumph’s ‘See It, Believe It’ tool, to a stunning and hyper-optimised site for Sierra Tequila.
Simon Hankin, CEO at Exposure Digital said: “Being different has been our mission since we were founded in 2007. Rather than growing from a huge marketing conglomerate, we grew on the shoulders of the independently owned Exposure Group. That means that unlike many of our competitors, Exposure Digital was built on a foundation of earned media expertise and a firm grounding in making brands culturally relevant.
“Being awarded agency of the year at the MAA’s #DoDifferent theme is a huge accolade. But being the first digital agency ever in the history of the MAA Best Awards to do so is an achievement the agency is hugely proud of.”
